I am updating this blog after quite a lot of time, mainly to satisfy my two readers: Sagar, and Karthik who religiously checks the blog for updates from Bristol, thus giving my blog a truly multinational readership.
I was generally pissed of with life to have the motivation to write something.
Anyway, Its that time of the year when everyboday and his sister are busy making lists of what the year was to them; Their way of doing this is to make a Top-10 list of either movies, songs, news events or whatever else they are intrested in. A lot of sites also have been indulging in this decimalistic exposition. I have surfed many a sites and I found hardly any lists worth mentioning.
Here are the two I liked:
Reuters is the worlds largest news agency, with excellent photographers on ith payrolls. These people capture most of the pictures that you see daily in the International section of 'The whore of Boribandar". Here are their top 40 photos & You'll have to agree some of them are quite good.
Here is a list of the words, phrases and politically correct misnomers that appeard in the news media over the past year. I think that the list is rather america centric in nature, but in these days what isn't?
So hopefully this is my last Update in 2005.
